Frequently asked questions
What happens to transparency?
Transparent parts of the PNG show the page underneath, which is white. The picture itself is not changed.
Why can the PDF be larger than my PNG files?
Lossless images need space. For photos saved as PNG, turn on “Reduce PDF size” to store them as JPEG — the PDF gets much smaller.
