Frequently asked questions
Why does my photo show sideways on some sites?
Cameras store orientation in EXIF. Sites that strip or ignore EXIF show the raw, sideways pixels. Rotating here fixes the pixels themselves.
Can I rotate by any angle?
This tool rotates in 90° steps, which is lossless in geometry. Use cropping afterwards if you need to straighten a horizon.
Can I also flip the image?
Yes, use the flip buttons or the dedicated Flip Image tool.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your images never leave your device, and nothing is stored.
