Frequently asked questions
Will my photo be accepted?
The tool sets the size, the head position and the background; the office also checks lighting, expression and sharpness. Look straight at the camera with a neutral expression and check the official rules for your document.
How do I print the photos?
Order a normal 10×15 cm (4×6 in) photo print of the sheet, or print the A4 sheet at 100 % scale. Then cut along the grey lines.
Can I wear glasses?
Several countries, including the US, no longer accept glasses in passport photos. Take them off to be safe.
Is it free?
Yes. Browser tools on PhotoTools are free, unlimited and work without an account.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your images never leave your device, and nothing is stored.
