What is the difference between 2× and 4×?
2× doubles the width and height (4× more pixels); 4× quadruples them (16× more pixels).
Can AI recover any detail?
It reconstructs plausible detail from patterns it learned. It works best on slightly blurry or compressed images, not extremely tiny ones.
How long does it take?
A few seconds with a modern graphics card, up to a minute on older phones. The model (about 5 MB) downloads once.
What is the maximum size?
Results go up to about 36 megapixels (16 on phones); larger originals are reduced before upscaling.
