Which format gives the best savings?
WebP and AVIF usually give the smallest files. Keep JPG if the images will be used in places that don’t support modern formats.
How many images can I compress at once?
Up to 5 per batch for free, and up to 2,000 on paid plans.
Is metadata removed?
Yes, by default, which also saves space. You can turn it off.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your images never leave your device, and nothing is stored.
