What is EXIF data?
EXIF is information stored inside photos: camera model, settings, date, and often the GPS position where the photo was taken.
Do social networks remove EXIF?
Most large networks strip it on upload, but email, messengers that send files, cloud links and many websites do not.
Is the image re-compressed?
No. Only metadata blocks are removed, so the photo keeps exactly the same quality.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your images never leave your device, and nothing is stored.
