Is background removal really free and unlimited?
Yes. The AI model runs in your browser, so it costs us nothing and there is no daily limit. The model (about 45 MB) downloads once and is then reused.
What photos work best?
Photos with a clear subject and decent contrast to the background. Hair and fur work well; very busy scenes are harder.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Everything happens on your device. Only the developer API processes images on our servers.
Can I remove backgrounds from many images?
Yes. Use the Product Image Optimizer or the API to process whole catalogs.
